The health center provides consulting services to students who will be traveling abroad to minimize the risk of exposure to serious infectious diseases.
Additional vaccines and certain medications are often recommended to students who will be traveling to countries where diseases are prevalent. These services are not included in the trip expenses and vary according to the itinerary. The additional charges are the responsibility of the student. A $20 fee is charged to each student’s account for the travel conference.
Please plan ahead, as many vaccines require a series of injections one or more months apart.
